Memo from Board: Landscaping

To: Aspen Shores HOA Members

From: Aspen Shores HOA Board of Directors

Date: October 14, 2018

Re: Landscaping

In several past board meetings, there have been concerns brought to the Board regarding Landscaping.

Prior to providing information related to Landscaping, the Board would like to commend several Aspen Shores HOA members that have been working together to resolve their (Landscaping) issues amicably. As a Board, we continue to encourage neighbors to work together to find a solution.

Since many members are in the process of cleaning up their yards for the winter, the Board unanimously decided to send out a friendly reminder regarding our Landscaping Covenant. Per Amended Protective Covenants 2014, General Covenants, #7 Landscaping, it states:

7) Landscaping. It is the responsibility of each property owner to landscape and control noxious weeds. No trees, hedges or shrubs shall be grown or maintained in a fashion which unreasonably interferes with neighboring or future lot owner’s use and enjoyment of their respective properties, especially all views of the river. The Board shall determine whether any given trees, hedges or shrubs unreasonably interfere with those rights and such determination shall be conclusive. All fruit trees shall be kept insect and disease free.

Thank you to the many members who continue to work together to make Aspen Shores a great place to live.
